COLOMBO - DAMBULLA - SIGIRIYA

• Return to Hotel to checkout and leave to Sigiriya
• Enroute visit the Dambulla Cave Temple
• Proceed to Sigiriya
• Check into the hotel

DAY 03

SIGIRIYA - MINNERIYA - SIGIRIYA

• After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya Lion's Rock
• Evening proceed to Minneriya National Park for a safari with a Naturalist

Sigiriya Lion's Rock is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District of Sri Lanka. The fortress was built in the 5th century AD by King Kashyapa, who ruled the region at that time. The rock is over 200 meters high and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Minneriya National park is one of the best places in the country to see wild elephants. Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Tank, the park has plenty of scrub, forest and wetlands in its 88.9 sq km to provide shelter for toque macaques, sambar deer, buffalo, crocodiles, leopards and abundant birdlife aswell.

DAY 04

SIGIRIYA - MATALE - KANDY

• After breakfast, checkout and proceed towards Kandy
• On the way get a private tour of a batik factory
• Arrive at Kandy and check-in at hotel
• Visit the city & the Temple of the Tooth
• Check into the hotel

Batik is an old artistic technique used to turn cloth and clothing into pieces of art by wax-resist dying them. Sri Lanka is one of the world’s leading exponents of this technique. The exhibition area and factory provide examples of plain and simple to complex and colourful masterpieces of batik.

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, commonly referred to as the Temple of the Tooth, is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Kandy. It is one of the most revered and sacred temples in the country, and is houses a tooth relic of the Lord Buddha.

DAY 05

KANDY - PERADENIYA

Day's Activities

• visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens
• Check into the hotel

Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is a beautiful and expansive garden located in Sri Lanka. It is the largest botanical garden in the country and one of the finest in Asia.

The garden is home to over 4000 plant species, including a large collection of orchids and giant trees. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens, marvel at the colorful flowers and lush greenery, and even spot some wildlife like monkeys and birds.

DAY 06

KANDY - HATTON - DICKOYA

• After breakfast checkout to Kandy Railway Station
• Transfer from Hatton to Dickoya
• Check into the hotel

The train journey from Kandy to Hatton in Sri Lanka is known for its scenic beauty. Originally built to transport tea from plantations to the port city of Colombo, the train now offers stunning views of the hill country's major tea-producing regions. As the train winds through the mountains, passengers can admire the valleys, meadows, mountains, and waterfalls.

DICKOYA

• After lunch go on an exclusive, private Tea Tasting & Factory tour

KOGGALA - GALLE - KOGGALA

Day's Activities

• After breakfast, take a tour of Old Dutch Fort guided by a resident of the Fort
• Return to hotel and relax the rest of the evening at hotel

Galle is the south coast's major city; whose oldest landmark is the massive 17th century Portuguese and Dutch Fort in which the central city is contained. Visit the Dutch Fort and the city of Galle. As you walk through the streets you can see strong Dutch influences in the architecture, along with some old British residences and various mosques with Arabic touches.

DAY 10

KOGGALA - AIRPORT

Day's Activities

• After Breakfast, proceed to the Airport for the departure.
