COLOMBO - DAMBULLA -SIGIRIYA

Day's Activities

• After the breakfast check-out and proceed to Sigiriya
• Visit Dambulla cave temple en route
• Arrive and check-in to hotel in Sigiriya
• Spend the rest of the day at leisure
• Overnight Stay at the hotel

The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in central Sri Lanka. The temple is situated in a large rock outcrop and is made up of five cave temples that have been converted into a Buddhist temple complex.

DAY 03

SIGIRIYA - POLONNARUWA - MINNERIYA - SIGIRIYA

Day's Activities

• Proceed to Polonnaruwa after breakfast
• Enjoy an evening safari in the Minneriya National Park after visiting Polonnaruwa
• Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka's medieval capital, is home to impressive feats of engineering and Buddhist art and architecture. Highlights include the Gal Vihara, with its rock carvings of Lord Buddha, the Sacred Quadrangle with the Vatadage, and the man-made reservoir Parakrama Samudra, spanning over 23 kilometers.

Minneriya National park is one of the best places in the country to see wild elephants.

DAY 04

SIGIRIYA - HIRIWADUNNA - SIGIRIYA

Day's Activities

• Visit Sigiriya Lions Rock early morning prior to breakfast
• Return back to the hotel for breakfast
• Enjoy a village tour in Habarana in the evening
• Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Sigiriya Lion's Rock is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District of Sri Lanka. The fortress was built in the 5th century AD by King Kashyapa, who ruled the region at that time. The rock is over 200 meters high and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Visit Hiriwaduna Village for a peaceful tropical experience. Enjoy a village walk, boat ride on the lake, and local cookery demonstration with lunch.

DAY 05

SIGIRIYA - TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH - KANDY

Day's Activities

• After breakfast proceed to Kandy
• Enroute take a private tour of Ena De Silva's Community Batik Centre
• Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic En route
• Overnight Stay at the hotel

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, commonly referred to as the Temple of the Tooth, is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Kandy. It is one of the most revered and sacred temples in the country, and is houses a tooth relic of the Lord Buddha.

The temple complex includes several buildings and shrines, including the main temple building, the Royal Palace of Kandy, and several museums. The Golden casing housing the relic can be viewed by visitors during the ceremonial opening of the room gates, accompanied by traditional drumming.

DAY 06

KANDY - PERADENIYA - KANDY

• Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens after breakfast
• Return back to the hotel

Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is a beautiful and expansive garden located in Sri Lanka. It is the largest botanical garden in the country and one of the finest in Asia.

The garden is home to over 4000 plant species, including a large collection of orchids and giant trees. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens, marvel at the colorful flowers and lush greenery, and even spot some wildlife like monkeys and birds.

DAY 07

KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

Day's Activities

• Check-out at leisure and proceed to Nuwara Eliya
• Enroute take a private tour of a Tea Factory
• Spend the evening at leisure or exploring Nuwara Eliya with your guide
• Overnight stay at the hotel

NUWARA ELIYA - AIRPORT

• After Breakfast, proceed to the Airport for the departure.
